Finland-based Huhtamaki has introduced newly redesigned BioWare products, which include hot and cold cups.
The new range features Love Nature logo, which is said to increase consumer appeal, and also communicate the environmental message of BioWare products.
BioWare Love Nature single wall paper hot cups are available in mixed sleeve of four colors such as earth, moss, sand and pebble in sizes such as 4oz, 9oz, 12oz and 16oz, as9oz.
BioWare Love Nature single wall paper cold cups featuring fresh lime colored logo are available in 12oz, 16oz and 22oz sizes.
The new cups, which incorporate a bio-polymer lining derived from plant starches, are manufactured using paperboard material and certified in accordance with EN13432, the European norm for compostability of packaging.
Huhtamaki claims that the cups can be composted within sixty days in the optimum condition of industrial composting facilities.
