American food company Dole has launched Dole Power Up Greens, a new line of packaged greens that can be used in a range of salads, smoothies, stir-fry dishes, among others.
The new range includes Dole Power Up Baby Kale, Dole Power Up Baby Kale & Greens and Dole Power Up Spring Mix & Greens, and is available along with the existing salad kits and blends for $2.99-$3.49.
It has nutrient-dense greens, including baby kale, spinach, chard and other dark leafy greens that are said to be a good source of vitamins A, K, C and calcium, magnesium and folate.
Dole Fresh Vegetables marketing vice president Chris Mayhew said, "There is growing demand for the powerful flavor and nutrition that dark leafy greens deliver - and Dole is providing solutions to allow consumers to leverage their amazing taste and health benefits.
"Dole is providing recipes and serving suggestions to show consumers how to use the three new offerings to add a boost of flavor and nutrition to favorite meals."
