Tarkett has expanded its laminate flooring portfolio with the addition of 21 options.
Tarkett has added 21 new laminate flooring options to its flooring collection.
The new options integrate into the existing iSelect System and provide consumers with more choices and empowerment to make informed product decisions for design coordination and performance across all flooring categories, according to the company.
"Tarkett is always striving to provide consumers with a meaningful selection of flooring products to fit all of their needs," said Jeff Kresja, senior vice president marketing at Tarkett North America. "The new laminates were developed to integrate into the iSelect color families and balance our laminate portfolio to help consumers find the perfect floor for their taste, lifestyle, budget and even health."
He explained, Trends 12, a new collection with two designs in nine colors. Trends 12 Royal Oak uniquely captures the realism and sophistication of wide width, premium European oak hardwood, allowing consumers to have the look of this elegant wood with the value and performance of laminate.
Two similar print designs are combined to create more unique planks to truly replicate the wood with realistic shading, Kresja added. They feature a low, five degree gloss level, which replicates a UV oil finish. Plus, a high-definition embossed-in register process is used to capture every aspect of the design in print and texture.
He added, also in the Trends 12 collection, the new Factor 6 design features a subtle hand-scraped finish combined with rustic accents. As the only random width and length laminate product on the market, Factor 6 excels with three different widths and two different lengths in every carton, according to the company. There are six different size planks in every box, to create a rustic look.
Two new laminate designs have been added to the Trends Collection– Walnut Smoke and Oak Dusk. They are available in narrow, beveled planks, which are ruggedly-constructed for realistic acoustics and provide exceptional value, Kresja said. Walnut Smoke is elegant enough for fine dining rooms and flexible enough for cozy dens. Meanwhile, Oak Dusk is a fashion forward gray that has a sophisticated and calming effect on its interior environment. As a member of the Trends Collection, they both install quickly with the Angle/Drop locking system.
In addition, three new laminate collections have been introduced in the Heritage, Woodstock and Vintage Collections. He said Heritage Oak offers four color ways in a strong restoration-style with better wear resistance and realism, especially in the detailed dimensional embossing. The micro-bevel and subtle saw cuts are easy to clean and defines the character of these wide 8" planks. Offered in a wide plank format, Kresja said, Woodstock offers three colors in a sharp, contemporary look with detailed embossing and square-edge finishing for outstanding clean-ability in a monolithic style. Finally, he noted, vintage offers an up-cycled, recycled and distressed look.
