KHS Has Expanded Its Roll-Fed Labeling Machine Series Innoket 360 with Innoket 360 Duo

Filing and packaging equipment manufacturer KHS has expanded its roll-fed labeling machine series Innoket 360 with Innoket 360 Duo, which has two stations and a production capacity of 60,000 PET bottles an hour.

The new machine is an addition to series that already has the Innoket 360 and the compact Innoket 360 S. The two have single labeling stations and a capacity of 50,000 bottles an hour.

The complete Innoket 360 series has been improved with upgrades such as a servomotor-driven reel stand and an intelligent sensor which handles the cutting of labels. The Innoket 360 will now have an option of integrating an extra self-adhesive labeling station along with a tamper-evident sleever.

The machines have been designed for medium to high-capacity operations, and can be used for labeling PET bottles and other containers using wraparound labels.

The older versions of the machine used a cutting mark sensor to cut labels. The latest upgrade made these functions inbuilt. The products to be processed can be selected by the operators using a control module, avoiding errors.

A servodrive included in the machine boosts its tolerance to fluctuating grades of label material. KHS claims this feature will make the machine more reliable.
