Spain-based packaging equipment and services provider ULMA Packaging has developed a non-refillable oil dispenser for labeling and packaging of olive oil.
The company is confident that its equipment will be able to meet the new legal requirements of making proper packaging and labeling system for olive oil that prevents container reuse once empty.
According to ULMA, the equipment requires a low investment and has an optimum size for producing medium sized batches of single oil doses.
Available in two models, the machines are said to manufacture either round top or square top containers at a speed of up to 80 packs per min.
Both types of easy to open packages produced by the equipment are sealed with printed film for the correct identification of the product, displaying its features, brand, among others.
Using the new equipment, the company claims that it is easy to print the packaging date on the bottom of the container, and also there is a possibility of automatic case packing into cardboard boxes.
