Advanced Cannabis Solutions (ACS) has signed an agreement with Alison Group for the supply of child resistant reclosable easy open (CRREO) bags.
As part of the deal, ACS will provide CRREO bags from May 2014 for marijuana dispensaries, located in southern Colorado, US.
ACS president and CEO Robert Frichtel said the flexible CRREO bag is approved by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
"The ASTM testing protocol must be followed by dispensaries according to what is defined by the Marijuana Enforcement Division," Frichtel added.
Patented in 1994, the CRREO bag has been utilized in the medical industry for several years.
