Naturally Splendid has announced the completion warehouse upgrades at the companies head office location in Burnaby, British Columbia and has received approval for the construction of its new Natera packaging facility.
The new facilty, which is expected to be built using CFIA approved materials, will allow for cost savings, customisable order preparation, and an overall increase in the efficiency of packaging operations, according to the company.
The Natera warehouse upgrades, which include new storage and shelving units, have increased storage capacity by 200% with a total footprint of about 6,000ft2, noted Naturally Splendid.
Naturally Splendid Enterprises operations vice president Bryan Carson said the company has streamlined packaging and warehousing facilities to accommodate larger volumes of sales and faster inventory turnover.
"The company's Natera superfood line is now carried through both regional and national distributors that service over 7000 retail stores and is quickly becoming a recognized name in the Canadian functional food market," Carson added.
