Fujian Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fujian Sangang (Group) Co. has announced that in the first half of the current year its crude steel output totaled 3.9416 million mt, up 22.26 percent year on year, on the back of improvements in technology, management and sales.
In addition, in the given period the company achieved a net profit of RMB 141 million ($23.05 million), down 16.07 percent from RMB 168 million in the same period of the previous year.
In 2012, Fujian Sangang's total crude steel output had reached 6,977,700 mt, up 22.06 percent compared with 2011.
