Glass was used extensively for the project. Most prominent areas of application included glass façade and skylights. While the building is quite literally enveloped in glass, the Sky-lounge is an awe inspiring 5500 sq.ft. glass habitat with a height of nearly 80 ft., covered with glass above renders an uninterrupted sky-view.
KT 440 – Nano Green for both the facades and skylights. Nano is a high performance glass that has a very low solar factor, and a low e value (high thermal insulation). It thus contributed to high energy efficiency of the building. Laminated solar control glass is used for skylights.
