German carmaker Volkswagen has unveiled the production version of its Beetle Fender edition at Leipzig International Auto Show.
Volkswagen's iconic coupe is fitted with a premium Fender© sound system and visually demonstrates its affiliation with the American musical icon.
The Beetle Fender Edition is powered by 2.0litre turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine, which will generate an output of 200hp.
German carmaker said that the special edition is equipped with Fender sound system which comprises nine speakers along with a 10-channel amplifier providing 400W of system power.
Beetle Fender Edition vehicles are equipped with 18 inch disc aluminum-alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights.
Volkswagen said that the Beetle Fender Edition will be firstly on sale in Europe and will be offered in the US in fall of 2012.
