The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is organizing 'INDIAPACK 2013' during 28-31 January 2013.
The IIP, an autonomous body working under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has launched the four-day show at a press conference in New Delhi on Thursday, SME times reported.
The main objective of INDIAPACK 2013 is to provide Indian Packaging Industry a unique platform to showcase 'State of the Art' packaging technology, machinery, products and services along with international companies providing better packaging solutions in terms of costs, productivity suitability and quality.
Ministry of Commerce & Industry joint secretary JK Dadoo said India has emerged as one of the major consumer markets in Asia, and the Indian packaging industry is getting its due share in the consumer boom.
"To meet the growing demand, the industry is looking out for latest packaging and packaging technologies to develop state-of-the-art packaging," he added.
INDIAPACK 2013 serves as an important platform for companies providing an end-to-end solution to the packaging end users from pharmaceuticals, processed & fresh food industry, chemicals & confectionery, perfume & toiletries, cosmetics, toys, sports good and allied industry.
