Indonesia's Steel Imports Decreased by 14.56 Percent in Feb From Jan

According to the data announced by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), in February this year the value of Indonesia's steel imports decreased by 14.56 percent compared to the previous month, amounting to $646.9 million, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel increased by 31.99 percent month on month to $422.9 million.

In the first two months of the current year, Indonesia's steel import value came to $1.40 billion, falling 18.69 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel amounted to $743.3 million, down 15.44 percent year on year.
