Filling and packaging technologies manufacturer Krones is set to showcase its packaging solutions at this year’s drinktec event in Germany.
The event will take place from 11 to 15 September in Munich.
At the event, the firm will exhibit high-speed line for filling bottles with beer, as part of its beverages and liquid food product portfolio.
Krones will also showcase a pilot line, which includes a combination of filler, direct printing machine and intelligent conveyors.
The line will be used to effectively produce even small batch sizes, while retaining maximised flexibility. It will be helpful to individually dress the containers using a direct printing process.
The company will also exhibit eco-efficiency solutions for the brewery industry at the event.
Krones is currently involved in the development of a brewery that can be managed without fossil fuels and obtains energy exclusively from recovering recyclables.
In addition, the firm will exhibit a block concept for complete lines at the event. It will include a wide and varied spectrum of blocked combinations, which are said to be space-saving and cost efficient.
In May this year, Krones acquired US-based firm Javlyn to expand its process integration capabilities.
Based in Rochester of New York state, Javlyn, produces automated processing systems for the food, beverage, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The company is specialized in manufacturing of automated food, dairy, and beverage process systems.
