UK-based snack food manufacturer Walkers is recalling certain batches of Walkers Lights Variety 6 packs,as it contains milk which is not mentioned on the ingredients list of individual Lights Sour Cream and Chive contained in the pack.
The Food Standards Agency(FSA)has issued an allergy alert and has asked consumers who are allergic or intolerant of milk to not eat this product.
The product subjected to the recall is Walkers Lights Variety 6 Pack,bearing the Best before dates of 12 January 2013 and 19 January 2013.
The company will contact the allergy support organizations to inform their at-risk members about the recall.No other Walkers products are affected by the recall.
