Paper bag converter Zenith Specialty Bag has started the implementation of new software technology from Electronics For Imaging (EFI).
The new EFI Radius Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution provided by printing and packaging solutions provider EFI, helps converters to make profitable business management decisions.
EFI Radius general manager David Taylor said Zenith could generate a considerable return on investment by implementing the software.
"More important, they can improve their businesses for the long-term by getting the management-level information they need to increase productivity, reduce costs and grow profits," Taylor said.
The fully integrated business management solution provides the Los Angeles County-based converter with up-to-date information to make informed changes.
Zenith will be able to enhance its machine utilization and the accuracy of its job costing with real-time information from shop floor data collection and an automated approach to scheduling.
