Kuka Robotics is showcasing packaging and palletizing solutions at this year’s Pack Expo event in Las Vegas, US.
At the event, the company is exhibiting its robotic solutions, including KR 6 R900 Agilus robots.
The company will exhibit KR 6 R900 Agilus robots in an application using software technology in both conveyor and vision for a pick and place applications.
KR 6 R900 Agilus robot with FlipBot feature will allow to optimize complex processes and better understand interactive machine learning and incorporate other advances in robotics and software into any application solution.
KR Agilus robots can quickly pick and place randomly positioned components from one moving conveyor into straight lines on another.
Agilus family of robots has a payload availability from 3 kg to 10 kg with a reach of 540 mm to 1,100 mm, and provided in 34 different variations such as waterproof and cleanroom.
The company will first exhibit robots, wine and cheese packaging solutions at the event.
Suitable for human-robot collaborations, LBR iiwa robots feature integrated and sensitive torque sensors in all seven axes to provide the robot contact detection and programmable compliance to avoid collisions,
The company will also showcase KR 240 R3200 PA robot from the KR Quantec PA series, which can allow for up to 27 cycles per minute in palletizing operations.
The series is suitable for heavy lifting in the palletizing and packaging industry, and available in payloads of 120 kg, 180 kg, and 240 kg with a reach of 3,195mm.
The firm’s new cloud-based software platform allows customers to access robots at anytime and anywhere on any device.
