PRO2PAC Is Uk's Processing and Packaging Exhibition Dedicated Entirely to The Food

Pro2Pac 2013 is ready to provide food processing and packaging companies with the latest information on novel sustainability practices, as part of an addition to its show in 2013.

The Sustainable Solutions Zone is being positioned as a unique platform for visitors to discover the latest green and sustainable technologies and practices, which include responsible recycling, waste reduction and renewable energy.

Its new partnership with Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas Association (ADBA) is to ensure that Pro2Pac visitors learn about the benefits offered by anaerobic digestion (AD), a new practice involving use of biodegradable material to generate energy, cut costs and carbon emissions.

Pro2Pac event director Chris Cuin said they were happy to be partnering with ADBA to ensure that it will continue to provide visitors with the leading thinking in key industry issues.

"The ability to produce renewable energy using waste resources is sure to prove extremely valuable to businesses seeking to boost efficiency and profitability, while also helping food manufacturers reduce their carbon footprint," Cuin said.

Pro2Pac is UK's processing and packaging exhibition dedicated entirely to the food and drink sector, which is co-located with IFE13, a food and drink trade event in UK.
