Kite Packaging Introduces New Do Not Stack Cones

UK-based Kite Packaging has introduced new do not stack cones, offering a instantly recognizable way of finding where products cannot be stacked on top of one another.

The cones have been developed to immediately recognize where products cannot be stacked within warehouse, distribution and dispatch environments.

The new cones will help to prevent pallet stacking, where the damage is expected to be happened to the goods or the integrity of the packaging.

According to the company, the cones will occupy minimal space and can be assembled, as well as secured by either placing strapping in the feed-through holes or simply by taping them down to the pallet.

Earlier this month, Kite Packaging announced the expansion of its headquarters in Coventry, West Midlands, with an investment of about £1.5m.

The investment will see the company upgrade its warehouse facilities servicing Midlands and online customers. It also includes the creation of extra capacity.

In March, the firm also launched new paper dispensing system, SpeedMan Classic, for low to medium volume packing departments.

Improving the efficiency of packing operations is becoming an increasingly relevant topic for many companies, with a specific focus on how to get a higher volume of product out of the door per man hour.

Founded in 2001, Kite Packaging is claimed to be an employee-owned packaging company. It operates from six facilities across the UK including the one at Coventry where its e-commerce and waste compliance units are also housed.
