Brenton Engineering, a US-based developer of packaging equipment and part of Pro Mach, is set to expand its Center of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence facility in Alexandria, Minnesota.
As of the expansion plan, the company is adding another 25,000ft2 space to accommodate growth in its packaging machinery products including Brenton case packers and robotics, Currie by Brenton palletizers and Orion stretch wrappers.
The expanded facility, which will have over 225,000ft2 of manufacturing and office space, will increase Brenton's production capacity and overall flow of the production processes.
Pro Mach president and CEO Mark Anderson said Brenton has an impressive history of growth.
"Pro Mach is proud of their past success and to support another project to strengthen Brenton's position for advancement in the packaging industry and Alexandria community," Anderson added.
The expansion works will begin in July 2014 and will complete by fall 2014.
Brenton sales vice president Jason Enninga said the company is committed to its customers and growing demand for its products.
"The additional space will allow us to meet current and future demands for the Brenton, Currie and Orion product lines," Enninga added.
