Packaging and bottling systems manufacturer Krones has acquired US-based firm Javlyn to expand its process integration capabilities.
Based in Rochester of New York state, Javlyn, produces automated processing systems for the food, beverage, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The company is specialized in manufacturing of automated food, dairy, and beverage process systems.
The acquired business will be integrated into Krones' machines and lines for beverage production/process technology segment.
Javlyn provides process solutions for prepared foods such as bakery items, desserts, dressings, dry mix, liquid egg processes and others.
The company will offer process technology for beverage products such as coffee, coolada mixes, juice extraction, juice concentration, juice blending, wine, beer and others.
Javlyn processing systems can be used for dairy products such as fluid milk, cheese and ice cream.
They can also be used for chemical products such as emulsions, plastics and toners, as well as pharmaceutical products such as batch and blend systems, DI water wystems, cough syrups and others.

Krones produces fully integrated packaging and bottling line systems, in addition to integrated brew house and processing systems, IT solutions and warehouse logistics systems.
