Mullican Flooring has provided flooring for an upcoming episode of "Flipping San Diego," a television series in its first season on the A&E channel.
The series' sixth episode, titled "Cat Invasion," is scheduled to air Saturday, Aug. 24, at noon EST and will feature a home renovation project that includes flooring from Mullican's engineered, 1/2-inch-thick Chalmette Collection.
The Johnson City, Tenn.-based company supplied Chalmette maple brownstone flooring, a hand-sculpted product, for the house located in City Heights, in the eastern part of San Diego. All Chalmette products are high-end offerings, each available in 5-inch widths.
"Flipping San Diego," a remake of the previous "Flip This House" series, began airing in July and features Chief Denney and Chris Bedgood. The show shadows the duo's efforts to make high-end renovations in a short time frame in an attempt to achieve a profitable resale of homes in the San Diego, Calif., area.
"Our products lend themselves to renovation projects like those featured on 'Flipping San Diego,'" says Neil Poland, president of Mullican Flooring. "We are pleased to see ways in which show producers and interior designers are utilizing our floors to achieve such beautiful results."
