PAC Machinery will be launching a new Clamco Dem 2 combo shrink system that will help in boosting productivity.
The equipment has undergone various changes over the preceding models, providing it a high production environment. The Dem 2 Combo (220V, 20 amp, 50/60Hz 4400w) uses a variety of materials for delivering stronger seals. The packaging machine is also available in a 120V version.
The combination of an L-bar sealer with a powerful shrink tunnel helps in faster and more efficient packing, sealing and shrinking in a single unit.
With a 4-inch increase in the length of the tunnel chamber, the machine has been able to maximise shrink performance. It also uses a digital tunnel temperature controller along with a heavy-duty tunnel blower that provides 360o air circulation for an improved performance.
The system also features a height adjustment to help operators align the product with the tunnel conveyor to smoothen the work of transferring and also to avoid shingling.
A unitised package tray and film cradle which can accommodate film rolls up to 22" wide and a pinwheel perforator are also a part of the machine. A motorised take-away conveyor and a short frame version measuring 74" long have also been included.
