Sacmi Packaging showcased its new products for trays and cases erection at Fruit Logistica, the international exhibition of fruit and vegetable processing technology, which was held in Berlin, Germany, from 4-6 February.
At the event, the company displayed the industrial version of the automatic TF 70 modular tray forming machine, complete with the TS 60 stacker.
Currently the market's highest-performing solution for corner-post trays, the new TF 70 forming machine modularity allows magazine, press and corner manufacturers to obtain a standard tray former (TF 50). It can start from the different base modules - magazine, press and corner.
The machine also enables parallel production of two trays, up to a maximum length of 800mm, and stacking without any upper height limit.
The company also showcased flexibility, productivity and extreme compactness TF 80 automatic tray forming machine designed to simultaneously cope with two different sizes and offering output rates in the order of 120 pcs/minute.
Sacmi also presented GD 25, a compact and fast machine featuring a special kit for forming boxes with corner posts in the hopper.
