UK-based Walkers Shortbread has created a peel-and-reclose packaging system for cookies, which is said to be convenient for on-the-go consumer and extends product's shelf life.
The maker of shortbreads, biscuits, cakes, and oatcakes has unveiled the new packaging format for its line of mini shortbread products, including chocolate chip shortbread, and shortbread rounds and fingers, according to packworld.com.
Walkers, which was established more than hundred years ago in 1898, currently exports about 12 varieties of its shortbread products to 80-plus countries around the world.
