Silgan Containers Manufacturing in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, US has announced its decision to relocate its production line to another one of its manufacturing facilities.
The company, which manufactures metal food packaging, is set to lay off 38 employees from 1 December 2012, as announced by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Silgan human resources manager Margo Rice said the layoffs would continue in phases.
The company has 28 manufacturing facilities nationwide and its parent company, Silgan Holdings manufactures rigid packaging for consumer goods products.
