In recent months, PG Hardwood Flooring surveyed a number of industry professionals to gain insight into the latest floor covering trends. This year, there seems to be more of a trend towards lighter shades, a rustic appearance, matte finishes and so on. So this is what PG Hardwood Flooring proposes for 2013.
Introduction of preoiled UV environmentally friendly products
This year, PG added preoiled UV products to its Unique Collection as well as its Model Classic Collection. Products are finished with natural renewable oil, an environmentally friendly choice. This process allows the wood to breathe and is popular because it is simple to maintain and repair. Oiled flooring also enhances the grain of the wood, conferring a matte, rustic appearance.
Habano and its rich cocoa brown overtones are sure to please those seeking a rich decor, while Marula with its greige accents adapts easily to any interior. For the more daring, PG and a professional painter worked together to create a Mediterranean-inspired product contrasting electric blue and carbon grey tones: Hope. This floor is sure to be the centre of attention in any home.
New in the Origin Series and E Series
Given the resounding success of the Origin Series, PG developed a new stain with greige accents known as Pelletier. The new Arizona colour added to the E Series features sandy grey and carbon tones.
New colours for the Model Classic Collection
Once again, this year, grey is the mainstay of interior design and we are pleased to offer customers Minio in shades of mouse-grey. Owing to the trend in lighter shades this year, PG developed a new colour, Sandbanks. Create your own ambience with Minio and Sandbanks available for all our grades, species, widths and finishes.
