And does not increase atmospheric emissions or affect the quality of our products

Holcim Lebanon, a supplier of cement in the Lebanese market, has been granted by the environment ministry an exclusive permit to co-process pharmaceutical waste in its cement kiln. As per the permit, Holcim Lebanon is to submit quarterly progress reports to the ministry and in transparency towards the local communities. "Obtaining the permit to co-process pharmaceutical waste allows us to use our equipment, expertise and know-how in offering waste management solutions in our facilities, without increasing atmospheric emissions or impacting the quality of our product," said Holcim Lebanon s business development director, Jamil Bouharoun.
