UK-based retailer Asda has recalled its Extra Special Syrup Sponge Puddings,as the product contains soya,which is not mentioned on the packaging.
The product subject to the recall is Asda Extra Special Syrup Sponge Puddings,300g,
bearing a best before date 17 February 2013 available in a 300g packaging.
Asda has recalled the product associated with the recall from sale and has also warned the customers who are allergic to soya,not to consume the product.The company plans to display customer notices in stores.The Food Standards Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.
No other Asda products have been affected.Customers who have bought the product are requested to return the product for a full refund.
