US-based manufacturer and distributor of green technology Safetek International’s Food Film Division has commenced marketing its new Safetek Professional food service film for meat, poultry, produce and frozen foods in North America.
Initially, the food film will be rolled out to specialty retailers, in addition to over 500 Organic Cooperatives in the US.
The film conforms to food contact regulations, is 100% non-toxic, 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. It is more economical compared to PVC and uses 30% less material.
Safetek International president Michael Krantz said the company is contacting each store manager directly to introduce the non-toxic film that caters to their environmentally conscious customers.
"Utilizing our non-toxic film becomes a marketing advantage to many of these specialty retailers and cooperatives," Krantz added.
