Glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has supplied the jars for food producer in the UK Darlington & Daughters's newly launched Passionfruit Curd. The product is sold in a 10oz pickle jar with a twist off neck finish from Beatson Clark's general sale range.
Beatson Clark marketing manager Charlotte Taylor said the new solution demonstrates the company's flexibility.
"Our general sale range is the perfect low-cost answer for artisan manufacturers who require premium packaging available from stock," Taylor said.
Darlington & Daughters's Passionfruit Curd product bagged a Great Taste Award from the British Guild of Fine Food earlier in 2012.
Beatson Clark already supplies the jars for the rest of the Darlington & Daughters range, which includes fruit curds, jams, jellies, marmalades, sauces, pickles and chutneys. The company has more than 60 products for the food sector as well as a wide selection of pharmaceutical and beverage products.
