From 2009 to 2011, global valve import value appears an upward trend, which amounted to approximately $ 80.77 billion in 2011, with an increase of approximately 17.9%.

As the world's largest valve importing country, the United States imports about $ 10.22 billion in the first 10 months in 2012, with a year-on-year growth of 14.75%.

From Jan. to Oct. in 2012, Chinese exported valves amounting to $ 10.84 billion, with an increase of 12.1%. The United States remains the first large imported country of Chinese valves, in the first 10 months of 2012, the export value to the United States reached $ 2.58 billion, with an increase of 17.6%, accounted for 23.76% of China's valve total exports.

Chinese valve enterprises mainly located in Zhejiang, Henan, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Fujian and etc... From Jan. to Oct. in 2012, the cumulative production of Chinese Valve reached 5.84 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 11.52%. In October, the monthly valve production capacity reached about 640 thousand tons, with a year-on-year growth of 17.68%. From Jan. to Oct. in Zhejiang region, the production capacity of valves accounted for 30.6% of China's total output, with a year-on-year increase of 15.03%; In Guangxi region, the cumulative production capacity created a larger increase of 615.47% from Jan. to Oct.

HS: 8481, used for pipes, boilers, tanks, vats or the similar products, taps, cocks, valves and some similar devices, including pressure reducing valves and thermostatically controlled valves, hereinafter referred to as "valves".

From 2009 to 2011, the total export value of Chinese valve appears inverted "V" shape with year by year increasing. The total export volume in 2011 approximately reached 3.59 billion units with a decline of 1%; the total export value approximately reached 11.89 billion dollars with a year on year increase of 21.1%. From the chart form of Chinese valve monthly export volume in 2009-2011, we could find there is a seasonal trend of valves exporting. Feb. is trough and the significant growth is in Nov. and Dec.

From 2009 to 2011, Chinese valve mainly exported to USA, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Italy, Republic of Korea, Spain, Canada and Hong Kong, among these, Russian Federation has become the fastest growing country in importing Chinese valves, in 2011 the total export volume approximately reached 452 million dollars, with an increase of 117.72 compared to year 2011.

From Jan. to Oct. in 2012, China's valve total export amount reached $ 10.8 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 12.1%.

The major exporting countries / regions are the United States, Japan, Germany, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Italy, South Korea, Canada, Spain and India, among these, the United States is the largest export market of China's valve which take proportion of 23.76%; the export amount to Germany approximately $ 490 million, with a slight decrease of 1.9%.

Chinese valve export enterprises mainly concentrated in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Jiangsu, among these, Zhejiang Province accounted for 36.47%.

From January to October in 2012, the popular export products in China's valve industry are other valves, faucets, cocks and similar devices, the export amount approximately $ 7.366 billion; the export amount of valves, taps, cocks and similar devices, parts amounted to $ 2.878 billion; ended valves, exports amounted to $ 281 million.
