US-based RxMedic Systems will distribute the Eyecon Countertop Counter, marketed by Rx Systems, a company engaged in pharmacy packaging and supplies, as part of a preferred business partner agreement.
The automated pill counting system Eyecon can sit on a pharmacy countertop, and is said to be an addition to RxMedic's existing line of products to include their robotic pill counting and dispensing systems, pharmacy software and robot technology.
According to RxMedic, the ACS pill counting solution provides automated counting for pharmacies that may not require a robot or want a flexible configuration.
RxMedic's ADS robotic solution can process the bulk of a pharmacy's daily prescription volume by counting, labeling, verifying, capping and delivering the completed prescription to a collating area.
