Online disposable packaging supplier CupDepot has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of new deli containers from the US-based packaging products manufacturer Karat.
The new products available on CupDepot's website include Karat Polypropylene (PP) round deli containers and Karat Earth Polylactic acid (PLA) round containers in sizes ranging from 8oz to 32oz.
According to CupDepot, the Karat PP round deli containers can be used in restaurants, cafes, and other foodservice establishments.
The company said that the translucent and recyclable deli containers are made from PP plastic and can be used for both hot and cold foods.
Karat Earth PLA round deli containers are said to be eco-friendly, while having higher clarity than PP material and can be used for cold food storage.
PLA material, which is known as corn plastic, is made from renewable resources and is a nonvolatile and odorless polymer used in industries and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
