Afimilk, a provider of dairy technology, has announced that a dairy farm project in Vietnam, planned and constructed by on-site afimilk experts has entered its third year.
According to the company, the project financed by TH Milk is now operating five of 12 farms with 23,000 cattle.
Currently, the plant is producing 200 tons of milk per day and is expected to supply about 300,000 tons annually by 2015.
The dairies have about 11,000 milking cows and 12,000 heifers, while 4,000 more heifers will be imported from New Zealand during the next six months.
North Asia Bank general director Thai Huong said that the Israeli experts have contributed for the success of the plant.
Afimilk personnel are expected to phase out, and will transfer complete control of the dairy to local teams.
