Saudi Arabia-based Napco National is set to exhibit a range of food and beverage packaging solutions at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing event in Dubai, UAE.
The event will take place from 31 October to 2 November at Dubai World Trade Center.
At the event, the company will exhibit Glass Clear thermoforming barrier films for date fruit packers and processed meat and cheese manufacturers.
Beverage manufacturers can use the Aqua-peel lidding solutions on water and juice cups, while dairy manufacturers will use the aluminum peel lidding on the containers of lebneh, laban, ayran, Greek-style yoghurt, sour cream, mascarpone, cream cheese, and processed cheeses.
SW Shrink Wrap will be used by beverage manufacturers to brand, bundle and display soft drinks, energy drinks, juice and water.
For industrial applications, the clear or printed SW Shrink Wrap will be used for providing protection against UV exposure, pallet stability during shipping and transport, as well as safe and secure storage of products.
Napco National marketing development vice president Sarkis Dagher said: “We’re designing smaller pack sizes to directly meet health concerns for portion control. Many people buy on-the-go products, like confectionery, beverages, and ice cream.
“On the other hand, families and price-conscious shoppers need larger pack sizes. While we’re designing packaging, we’re putting sustainability at the forefront, by trying to use fewer raw materials and to generate less waste.”
Through its Dammam and Jeddah locations, Napco produces plastic, paper, corrugated, and aluminium peel packaging solutions.
