LED TV backlighting demand is expected to remain flat on year in 2014 while pricing and the penetration rate for LED lighting is expected to increase, according to industry sources.
The increases for LED lighting is expected to bring in business opportunities for companies such as Veeco, which also reportedly expects to see increased demand for products used in OLED flexible handset devices.
The sources also expect that MOCVD machine shipments are expected to reach between 2-2.25 million in 2014.
