Recently, most of steel pipe makers in Taiwan have announced to hike the prices by NT$500~NT$600/ton for December in response to higher input costs.
However, dealers pointed out that the demand might decrease as the prices rise was higher than market participants' forecast and buyers stockpiled in November.
It's known that the buyers accelerated to stockpile in November as they forecasted that the prices would rise in December.
