Unilever and Royal FrieslandCampina Announced Their Partnership with a New Agreement

Unilever and Royal FrieslandCampina announced their partnership with a new agreement to collaboratively work together on development and innovation as well as promoting sustainable production, packaging and logistics.

The Joint Business Development Plan (JBDP) is part of Unilever's 'Partner to Win' program to work more closely with its key suppliers.

Unilever R&D operations senior vice president Hans Dr?ge said the partnership demonstrates precisely as to how the firm plans to work with suppliers to help improve environmental performance across the supply chain and co-create innovations.

FrieslandCampina sustainability affairs director Frank van Ooijen said the partnership fits well with the company's sustainability program, which lays foundations of its route2020 strategy.

Royal FrieslandCampina is Unilever's preferred partner for ingredients used in the B2B markets such as butter, butter oil, cream in aerosol cans, as well as ingredients for ice cream, soups and sauces and other foods.
