Corrugated packaging company Smurfit Kappa is set to exhibit its complete system of Bag-in-Box packaging solutions at Goodwine trade show in Romania.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 November in Romexpo, Bucharest.
The Bag-in-Box packaging solutions aim to extend the shelf life of liquid products such as wine, as well as semi-liquid food products.
Smurfit Kappa produces Bag-in-Box solutions such as quality bags, Vitop tap and outer boxes, which enable wine to not lost quality during several weeks after opening.
Bag-in-Box is firm’s environment-friendly packaging solution containing 75% board and 25% plastic.
The solutions are provided in various sizes ranging from 2 litres to 1000 litres of liquid volume.
Smurfit Kappa provides Bag-in-Box solutions for beverages, dairy, fruit and vegetables, as well as other food products.

With around 370 production sites across 34 countries, Smurfit Kappa offers paper-based packaging solutions for its customers. The company reported sales of around €8.1bn in the last fiscal year.
