Dow Jones Sustainability World Index announced its rating of The Dow Chemical Company as one of the top performers in the global cindustry – marking the 13th time Dow has received this recognition since the launch of the index.
Dow was one of only nine chemical companies to be recognized in the World Index in 2013, representing sustainability performance in the top 10% of the industry. Additionally, Dow achieved a perfect 100% score in the Environmental Policy Management System category, leading the Materials Industry Group for the second year in a row.

Dow seeks to set the standard for sustainability, setting aggressive 2015 Goals and taking pride in accountability and transparency throughout the process. Centered around using sustainable chemistry to help solve world challenges, these goals include six strategic themes: Addressing climate change; energy efficiency and conservation; product safety leadership; contributing to community success; local protection of human health and the environment; and breakthroughs to world challenges.
