DuPont Titanium Technologies, the world’s largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide (TiO2) products, will unveil its new Ti-Pure One Coat system at the European Coatings Show (21-23 April, 2015, Hall 7, stand 7-736) in Nuremberg, Germany.
“Ti-Pure One Coat is the result of understanding our customers and trial studies with painters around the world. Their insights have validated the preference for superior hiding in enhanced paints that deliver superior performance. Higher performing paints result in improved sustainability throughout the coatings value chain,” said Susan Mejia, Global Coatings market manager, DuPont Titanium Technologies.
Key to the Ti-Pure One Coat systems solution is the new Ti-Pure Select TS-6300 titanium dioxide pigment. Ti-Pure Select TS-6300 titanium dioxide is designed for flat- and low-sheen architectural coatings and manufactured from the DuPont proprietary chloride-base process. Ti-Pure Select TS-6300 enables paint manufacturers to create formulations with superior hiding power, exceptional brightness and optimum TiO2 efficiency.
“Using our Ti-Pure One Coat approach in combination with the new Ti-Pure Select TS-6300, our DuPont technical specialists, in collaboration with our partners, developed paints that expand the limits of coating hiding power," added Mejia.
