Clondalkin Flexible Packaging has invested in a new high speed flexo printing press at its facility in Orlando, Florida, US.
The Comexi 8 color press is designed to process multiple substrates and can print a wide range of products.
Additional features of the press include auto registration, automated ink control systems, reverse-side web printing, inspection for quality control, high capacity drying units and high speed.
Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando marketing director Nick Gamb said: "This state of the art press technology will enhance both capacity and capability bringing our customers additional flexibility and increased efficiency.

Recently, Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury said it has invested in Berhalter's SMARTembossing system to increase print quality on aluminium lids.
Clondalkin provides flexible packaging solutions for the food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.
The company operates 11 production facilities including extrusion, printing and laminating, and converting production facilities in Europe and North America.
