Its not often a tool comes along that revolutionizes they way you work. Well we just came across a product that if your a roofer, it will knock your socks off.? We are talking about the Paslode CR175C Cordless roofing nailer, it is packed with innovative ?features that save time and money

For this review we actually went out in the field to get roofers opinions, we wanted them to use it then report back. The feedback we?received ranged was all positive, they loved it. The unit is compact and lightweight at 7.5lbs, it even comes with safety glasses and a backpack which fits everything including fuel and nails so its easy to take up on a roof. One of the big things roofers liked was that you don't have to drag out compressors and air hoses, the latter is a safety issue. The nailer is fueled by Paslode's?Roofers?Choice fuel which is available with nail coils in one?convenient?package. A lanyard is included with the tool to attach to your work belt to prevent the tool from falling of a roof.

We took the tool up on a roof to replace a valley, I climbed up the ladder with the tool secured in the backpack on my back, so I had both hands free to safely climb the ladder. Once on the roof I let the professional take over. He immediately started to prep the tool like he had been using it for years, its that simple. He attached the lanyard to his work belt and went to work. One shot and he stopped, the nail depth needed adjustment, we took out the included allen wrench and proceeded to adjust the depth. Done in less than one minute we are back to work, shot after shot the nailer performed great. The tool itself is rugged and has rubber grips on either side that allow you to lay it on a roof without it sliding. To replace the fuel cartridge is simple, you just open the back latch pop it out and pop a new one in. The nails are just as simple, open the side door, place the coil on the spindle, align the nails with the feeder close the door and your ready to work with 120 nails till the next reload. The have also included a shingle guide that is fully adjustable.

The nailer is capable of up to 2 nails per second and is quite powerful. The included battery will last you all day?and also includes a charger. Another really nice thing we liked is Paslode's support hotline, if you have any support issues they included a 800 number on both the bag and the tool. When your tool gets dirty its time to clean and maintain it, so Paslode has included a dummy proof picture tutorial on how to clean and maintain the tool. Paslode has really set the bar with this tool.? The feedback we got was shock and awe at how much time this can save them. Paslode did their homework on this one and worked closely with roofers to build a tool that saves time and money. ?Of course it also proudly wears the Paslode name which is known in the industry as a quality ?tool maker.

The Paslode Cordless Roofing Nailer uses Roofer's Choice? Fuel + Nail packs, which maximizes the tool's performance and means you never run out of fuel before you run out of nails. Each pack comes with one quicklode? fuel cell and six coils of nails (or 720 nails per box). The nails feature the PowerBoost? Black Tip Coating for superior ease of drive and a unique vertical groove design for better holding power than standard roofing nails. Each Fuel + Nail Combo Pack contains enough nails to do two squares (200 square feet)
