Greiner Packaging has developed a new plastic bottle for Poland-based Sobieski Vodka brand.
Part of the Marie Brizard Wine & Spirit Group (MBWS), Sobieski Vodka will use the new1.75L bottle for the North American market.
Sobieski Vodka has selected plastic bottle, as it is shatterproof and light in weight compared to glass bottles.
The new bottle has been produced by using injection stretch blow molding process and PET material.
MBWS purchasing manager Anna Rzewuska said: “The raw material used and the modern production guarantee not only better transparency, they also show off the fine engraving of our trademark logo much better.
“The bottles are much more in keeping with our claim of having a premium product.”
In July, Greiner Packaging opened new coextrusion barrier foil facility at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz, Austria.
