Soft drink brand Zeo has unveiled three new variants and has turned to Blue Marlin to create the packaging
The brand’s owner Freedrinks launched carbonated product, Zeo, last summer and has now expanded with three new variants – Burst, Crush, and Zest. Design agency Blue Marlin created the original curvy bottle and graphics.
The new range adapts the original look and designed to champion the use of natural ingredients. According to Blue Marlin, the graphics have moved from “understated minimalism to stylish boldness”. In addition, the design has introduced Russian iconography to communicate the brand’s origin. A red star crests the cap while a silhouette of St. Basil’s Cathedral rises within the barcode.
Blue Marlin London creative director Simon Pendry said: “Rather than relying as much on the subtleties of mystery and sensuality which were so prevalent in Zeo’s market debut, the new design focuses on bold standout and the intriguing origin of the drink.”
Freedrinks chief executive Martin Hall added: “Zeo’s launch sets out the intent of Freedrinks, whose aim is to bring innovation into the soft drinks market. Blue Marlin has been one of our partners from the very beginning. With expertise and commitment, they’ve helped the Zeo brand communicate its unique offer, style, and story with a stunning beautiful design.”
