Digital colour printing specialist Xeikon, recently acquired by Flint Group, has announced the launch of a new digital label press.
Called the Xeikon 3020, the product has been designed to meet demand, particularly from the Chinese market, for 10-inch self-adhesive labels.
An extension of the 3000 series of Xeikon label presses, the 3020 enables businesses to field upgrade their presses to faster speeds and larger sizes as they grow.
Jackie Chen, sales GM for greater China, said the Xeikon 3020 offered letterpress and label operations an affordable digital entry point.
Xeikon, which was last month acquired by packaging and print media company Flint Group, designs, develops and delivers web-fed digital colour presses for labels and packaging applications, document printing, and commercial printing.
Xeikon’s pioneering products and services will be the foundation of a newly created division to be called Flint Group Digital Printing Solutions, broadening the group’s conventional and digital offerings.
