Digital print enhancements provider Scodix has announced the installation and implementation of a Scodix S Series press at US-based Curtis Packaging.
The Scodix press, with its improved Scodix RSP Technology, based on 2 CCD cameras and mathematical algorithms, features 99 Gloss Units, up to 250 microns in polymer height.
According to Scodix, the press also features variable density capabilities ranging from 1 to 100%, and unlimited colors with the Scodix Rainbow Station and the Digital-Glittering process.
The press has the capacity to handle sheets to 20x29 inches.
Curtis Packaging, a $40m folding carton company, produces packaging for customers in the cosmetic industry.
