The internet giant has joined forces with the recyclable packaging products manufacturer to manufacture the custom-designed tray at the company's production facilities.

The move follows introduction of zero degree draft angle technology by Be Green that allows producers to form complex designs required by tech industry.

Be Green manufacturing president Robert Richman said, "The new technology that Be Green has exclusively developed opens the door to a whole range of design capabilities that allow us to take tree-free, plant fiber packaging into new markets and areas."

The new fibers used in laptop casings are claimed to be quickly renewable as they grow like weeds in many parts of the world and take less time to mature.

No petrochemicals are used in the manufacturing of Be Green's plant fiber blend, which offers various benefits over traditional forms of packaging such as paperboard and plastic.

Be Green CEO Ron Blitzer said, "Embracing the environment and social equity in addition to profitability is part of our overarching goal of being a truly holistic, sustainable enterprise."
