Finnish optical business firm, Finnsus has changed the packaging of its contact lens care solutions products by opting for new bottles manufactured by RPC Promens Industrial Turku.
The new 120ml and 360ml HPDE bottles made through blow moulding are claimed to have a combination of light weight and convenient handling according to the RPC Group subsidiary.
RPC Promens Turku has also come up with a considerable decoration space to help Finnsus achieve effective branding as well as improve its on-shelf presence.
The project was completed by the plastic packaging manufacturer in co-ordination with the product development and quality teams of Finnsusp. The first bottles in the new format were released in autumn 2016.
Finnsusp production manager Inna Laaksonen said: “RPC performed very professionally and communication worked very well during the process.
“We expect sales of these products to grow which will lead to more intense co-operation with RPC Promens as well.”
Earlier in the month, another subsidiary of the RPC Group in RPC Bebo Polska had designed and manufactured a new thermoformed multilayer polypropylene pot for the Fruit Mousses range of Polish firm Menii.
The RPC subsidiary is said to have delivered the Ro 84 tub for this purpose to enable effective product protection and create on-shelf impact for the mousses product range.
The new tub from RPC Bebo Polska is made up of a barrier layer of Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) which prevents oxygen from entering, thereby delivering an extended shelf-life for the mousses.
RPC has also come up with a colourful peelable closure. Also to achieve consumer convenience, it has ensured that the tub is of light weight and easy to handle.
