Volkswagen of America has reported 29.3%increase in its November 2012 sales to 36,728 units,compared to the same period in 2011.
Jetta sedan sales were 11,977 in November 2012,while the Golf and GTI sold 1,429 and 1,003 units respectively.
The Tiguan models sales rose 52.2%to 2,815 units and the Volkswagen Touareg sales rose 27.1%to 1,068 units.
TDI Clean Diesel models sales increased 27.8%to 7,182 units and the company said that TDI models account for 21%of it line-up year-to-date.
Audi,a subsidiary of Volkswagen,has also reported a 24.4%rise in its November 2012 sales to 12,067 cars and SUVs,compared to 9,700 units sold for the same period in 2011.
Audi A5 sales rose 39.3%to 1,385 units in November 2102 and sales of Audi A6 increased 15.6%to 1,594 units.
Sales of Audi Q7 increased 91.9%to 653 units in November 2102 and Audi A8 sales rose 17.4%to 541 units.
